The following information will help you through the permitting process for your special event in the City of Long Beach.

What is a Special Event?
A special event may include, but is not limited to, grand openings, fundraisers, weddings, runs/walks, parades, festivals, fairs, carnivals, block parties, etc. A special event can be private or open to the public and held on private property. Planning a special event typically requires a significant amount of lead-time. Special event applications must be received 60 days prior to the scheduled event. Block party applications must be received 10 days prior to the block party.
